We are situated at 14 W. Historic Route 66 Flagstaff, Arizona, across from the Train Station. We are open Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 8:00AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Our Origin

The Chatinsky family founded Peace Outfitters in 1973. The store's foundation was based on military surplus but has since evolved into a full-service outdoor store. In November of 2021, the Ahmed Family purchased the store with the goal of continuing the Peace Outfitters legacy.

Rentals

We offer a summer and winter rental program. Our winter equipment includes cross-country or downhill skis, snowboards, and snowshoes. Our camping gear includes tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, backpacks, trekking poles, and more.

Peace Surplus

Affordable

We provide the most affordable rental prices in town and discounts for NAU and CCC students. We have the rental equipment you'll need whether you're skiing or snowboarding at Snowbowl, hiking into the Grand Canyon, or hiking into the mountains.
